Tongue in Cheek
We believe only authentic brands do get accepted by consumers and only if the brands are unique, durable, lasting and positive.
Consumers see their peers and people they admire as role models, this can be a blogger, a character from a show, a musician, but especially friends. Friends are the ones who seduce you and introduce you to new brands/products.
By creating a story with recognizable and likable characters, who are easy accessible and excepted as trustworthy. Their behavior is authentic, true full and the consumer can follow the characters on-and-offline in a storytelling experience. They have discussions about news and trending topics, likes, dislikes, etc., etc.
Tongue in Cheek is 3 things in 1 overall story. It’s an staged-real-life-docu, a videoblog about awesome stuff and a full-time infomercial.
We worked on a prototype and introduced this concept far too early to a couple of big brands, who weren’t aware of upcoming social media at that time. This didn’t stop us, we’re still looking for time to initiate this idea and revitalize this project. Any ideas? Contact us.
